Waggin Train offers a ‘frequent buyer’ program: index cards with the customers’ name on them are kept in a box at the cash register, and each salesperson asks each customer if he or she is part of the frequent buyer program. Purchases are kept track on the card; when the customers spends $150 at the store, they get 20% off t heir next purchase.
